My Retro Apron

I fell in love with this article. After reading it I remembered this adorable apron I found and fell completely in love with in my Garnet Hill catalogue. I'll be &*^%$ if it wasn't already sold out! I wanted to wear it Thanksgiving Day. Anyway I pouted myself through some apron patterns. I ran across this site. I remembered I had a really cool retro pillowcase I never use..found the perfect pattern to make my own apron..thank you very much.. Hey! Maybe I'll stop losing my phone during the day.

Starting On These Cute Aprons

I saw this adorable fabric at my fabric shoppe. The pattern is from this great book I bought near San Fransisco. The pattern is called 'The Pretty Crafty Apron' on page 92. Today I will, probably, just get past the washing & drying phase.

My Bathing Beuties

I thought I had my cuties in my sandbox. These are my favorite napkins..too freakin' cute.

Christmas Napkins

I Finshed the napkins. I find it much more stressfull to make something for someone else..I just need to pretend I am sewing for myself.
She wants these before Christmas..duh..so I will give them the next time I see her. I had her pick out the fabric from her local quilting shop. I look at them and think..'Margie'. Let's hope she does the same. Now I have earned looking for fabric for my Thanksgiving and Christmas napkins. Yes, I am stuck on napkins..for now.

Sew Day

Monday April 27 was my first sewing-with-my-chicks-day. We are going to set up and play at Andi's. I fell in love with this baby-blue Asian print it will probably become a skirt.



Here are other fabrics that I couldn't live without. I think I am going to make the second one into the wrap skirt (ninth picture down) from Heather Ross' book Weekend Sewing. The fabric on the bottom is my Trapeze Dress.



Andi made fantastic homemade chocolate chip cookies (with Tiegan's help), corn chowder, and spaghetti. I'm not going home girl.
