Our Blue Heron

Isn't funny how we seem to call animals that live on our land or even within eyesight 'ours'? Anyway this is one of the blue herons on our river. They are just finishing teaching their young to fish. If we are loud at night (talking in normal tones on the deck) we get yelled by them at as if by parents across the hall during a sleepover.
